A new season is around the corner and so is a new service that Andersen Acres will be offering.  Starting this October we will be having Natural Horse H.E.L.P. mini workshop activities where you can share your horsemanship knowledge, ask questions, learn new techniques, improve your physical abilities, enhance your horse communication, and more. 

The first of these Natural Horse H.E.L.P. mini workshops is tentatively planned for Oct 4th, 2009 at 1:30pm.  There will be 1 to 2 each month.

The cost for these lessons and workshops will be affordable for all.  In fact the cost is no more than what you pay now to use Andersen Acres facility.  In other words these lessons and workshops are FREE to all Andersen Acres boarders and only $15 for non boarders.  The workshops will vary from 1 to 2 hours in length depending on how many people attend and the topics in question.  You can be an absolute beginner wanting to learn about natural horsemanship or you can be a seasoned veteran with horses.  There will be something for all to learn and improve upon.

These mini Natural Horse H.E.L.P. workshops will encourage collaboration so that all may benefit from the lessons and questions that are brought up.  Horses are welcome to attend but if you are unable to bring your horse you can still improve your horsemanship.

Some of the horsemanship areas that these Natural Horse H.E.L.P. sessions will address are:

• Grooming/Hoof/Medical care
  
• Ground skills
• Handling - Proper Behavior
• Saddling and Tack
  
• Riding techniques and problems
• Trailering
• And More...

The complimentary lesson that boarders received each month has now been converted into the new collaboration workshops that Andersen Acres is offering.  As a reminder, these lesson workshops are a free service to all boarders.  We at Andersen Acres want you to learn and improve your horsemanship knowledge and skills and so we encourage you to participate in the Natural Horse H.E.L.P. workshops.  Also if you have a specific problem, behavior, maneuver you'd like to get input on outside of the workshops, please ask.  We'd be happy to give you some pointers and direction when it is most fresh in your or your horses mind.  There is no charge for these few minutes of instruction but If you feel your situation needs more in depth instruction and focus from us we recommend doing some hourly lessons with us so that we can take the time to address your situation in detail and investigate options available for you to try.
